Land Book Clerk

The Monongalia County Assessor's Office has a full-time position available for a Land Book / Transfer Clerk.  Responsibilities include land transfers, communicating with staff, and reading and comprehending legal documents and data entry.  The successful candidate will demonstrate strong computer skills, and be detail-oriented, organized, and diligent.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a county government office
  • Real estate law experience
  • GIS Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience working with the public
  • Competency with Microsoft Office
  • Competency with Adobe
